I am far too young to have participated in WW2, but am amongst the generation who owe a massive deb of gratitude to all who did. I am honoured to be able to join this annual Victory day celebration again and share a wonderful day amongst some true heroes. I am always very struck by the kindness, generosity and respect shown by our Russian hosts and would like to thank and congratulate them for a very enjoyable day. Special thanks for HRH The Duke of Kent for making the time to join us.

As a standard bearer & welfare officer I would like to thank you most sincerely for such a wonderful day you gave us today ,it was such a moving occasion with gratifying speeches and flower laying for such a worthy cause ,Long may the memories of those caught up in the past conflict remain in the minds of the present generation.
Special thanks to all the organizers, photographers, and Eugene Kasevin who worked titrelessly in making the event without a hitch ,ensuring delicious eats and drinks were in abundance.
With grateful thanks.
